About Us

Currently  11,000  children  each  year  are  hospitalized  with  an  illness  requiring  long-term  treatment.  These  
11,000  tend  to  feel  powerless  and  insignificant  in  a  world  where  they  no  longer  belong.  While  the  medical  
community  has  made  significant  advances  in  the  treatment  of  these  children,  a  key  component  is  missing.  
That  component  is  satisfied  by  The  Kids  for  Life  Foundation.  Our  purpose  is  to  facilitate  a  reality  where  
sick  children  can  empower  themselves  to  be  part  of  the  outside  world.  These  children  live  such  habitual  
lives  where  any  variation  in  their  day  yields  great  excitement,  a  rare  occasion  amongst  their  community.  The  
Kids  for  Life  Foundation  breaks  down  the  monotony  of  hospital  treatments  while  rebuilding  children’s  social-
emotion  connections  to  society.  Overall,  myself  along  with  committed  volunteers  will  ease  the  tension  of  
children  facing  great  adversity.  We  will  give  them  a  reality  where  they  can  be  part  of  a  greater  society  
while  still  bound  to  a  hospital.
